The app is not functioning correctly. Boats that I know the location of are not being displayed. I assumed that the free application simply showed only a fraction of the boats, but this app shows the same boats and most are mssing. It seems the AIS information is so incomplete that the app is pretty much useless.
I was very hopeful to see all the ships on this application. Well it is extremely disappointing since it does come very short of its promise. I googled and foundMarine Traffic, and the free web connection show a lot more ships and detail then this app. So don’t waste your $6 Happy sailing!
Does not Work
Only shows some hits in some areas, virtually nothing along Canadian Coast Line. Not recommended.
Going to cost you more $$$
If you already purchased this for your iPad, they make you pay AGAIN to use it o0n your Mac Computer. So that’s like $12.00 and not $4.99 !!!
Program IMMEDIATELY crashes
Start program. ONE second later, it's gone. Activity monitor does not have it listed as a running program. TRASH
